Strength for Life is Redlands PCYC's Sport and Recreation program which aims at promoting healthy lifestyles and participation in physical activity amongst Indigenous Queenslanders. This program is a community based program which takes place during public school holidays each quarter and caters for children aged 8 years and higher (some activities are age limited). Activities are subsidised and free barge transport from Stradbroke Island is available (bookings essential).
Past programs have included cultural activities such as dance, fire making, boomerang painting, artefacts, woomera and bush tucker lessons and more. Recreation activities offered include things such as sandboarding, canoeing, surfing and beach games.
